Around the age of 25, I felt called by God to enter ministry. I remember it vividly—my father, Pastor Mike Dexter, was preaching about David and Goliath. Through that story, God challenged me to do what seemed impossible: “Go share the Gospel.” For anyone who knows me, this truly felt out of reach, just as David defeating a giant with only a sling and a stone seemed impossible. Yet, God had been preparing me all along through my years serving in Youth Ministry, leading worship, and serving on the church board of directors. Each experience was part of God's plan.
Ministry has had its highs and lows, but I wouldn’t trade these past 23 years for anything. God has worked wonders in Jenni’s life and mine. We cherish our roles as shepherd and shepherdess, caring for such wonderful people.
Our hope is to continue in this calling until God completes His work.
